just realised...
Stupid really but have just realised that as I have no actual place of work (at client sites most of the time or working from home) then I have no drinking buddies (although even when I did have a place of work they all lived so far away (NJ or Long Island) there was never any drinking opportunity anyway!)Am kind of missing the impromptu meetings in the bar that happen all the time in London. Shooting breezes over beers, talking pants, putting the world to rights... ah - those were the days (possibly more so in my previous employment actually due to the characters there....)
