The Great British Cloud
Am sitting in the BA Club World lounge at Heathrow terminal 4! V exciting as have never flown business before! Am definitely setting myself up for disappointment so from now on will try and pretend I'm in economy... Anyway the point of this blog is English clouds - you can't beat 'em. I travel a fair bit - especially at the moment and I have never seen such beautiful clouds as in England. I am reminded of this every time I come back here. We may be renowned for our rain and cold weather but if that means having gorgeous scenery both on land and in the sky then bring it on. I hadn't realised it was possible to miss them until I returned from a month in Sydney last year. I'd hardly had any reason to look into the sky for a month - my world became very flat - from the horizon down only and the clouds coming back was the only thing that lifted me from my depression! The best place to see them is driving along the M25 from my apartment in London to my parents house in Colchester (though obviously having to look at the road often gets in the way of appreciating a good cloud during sunset)Oh...and apparently the Club World lounge at terminal 4 has some quite nice clouds too :-)
